All classes and squads will continue as normal until we obtain further guidance from British Gymnastics and Public Health England following Boris Johnson’s statement tonight – Monday 16th March.
The health of our members, staff, volunteers, and families is our top priority when making decision around the running of the club. We have increased our cleaning protocols in order to minimise the risk of infection for all.
In the interim, we are continuing to ensure that we have extra stocks of hand wash and hand sanitising gel. We are encouraging our members, guests and staff to take simple common sense steps which include covering your mouth when coughing and sneezing, washing your hands regularly and thoroughly, carrying antibacterial gel and of course if you feel unwell, stay at home and do not come into Vernon Park Gymnastics Club. If this is the case please notify the club, in confidence, using the email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We suggest that recreational and squad parents do not gather in the normal waiting area, dropping your child/ren off is a sensible measure to avoid public gathering and follow any changes that we put in place for entering and exiting the building. For pre-school parents we ask you to please follow the rules given to you when attending the class.
Many thanks for your support in this most difficult of times. We fully support and understand your decision, if you choose to, to social distance in order to protect your loved ones.
The guidelines are changing daily and any new guidance we receive tomorrow will be updated here.
Stay safe and healthy.
The Vernon Park Team
