The parade starts at Belmont Way from 11.30 a.m. Please be prompt and meet the coaches there.
Younger gymnasts who want to meet us to walk part of the way can do so at Waterloo Street near the police station. Please meet a coach there no later than 13.10 p.m.
The float procession enters Woodbank Park at approximately 14.00 p.m. Please your children from the coaches here.
If you want to take part in our group displays these will be between 14.00 p.m. and 16.00 p.m. on the cricket pitch.
Volunteers needed to stay with the kit at Woodbank Park between 10am – 1 pm to ensure that it doesn’t disappear during car boot sale! This is so Barry can drive the support vehicle in the parade. As the weather is hot we want to ensure we have sufficient water and an opportunity for younger gymnasts to have a rest. Alternatively we need volunteers to drive their cars (which we will decorate) through the parade. Please help as this is for your daughter’s welfare! Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org a.s.a.p.
Girls can wear black gym shorts or black leggings during the parade. Please wear suncream, hat and bring plenty of water.
I think this is the route based on road closures.
